About KiD
Konst i Dalarna - (Art in Dalarna) - is a non-profit organisation working to promote the visual arts. The organisation was established at the initiative of the organisations KRO and KIF in Dalarna. Professionally active artists in the visual arts disciplines are eligible for membership according to criteria equivalent to those used by KRO and KIF.
Konst i Dalarna was established in May 1995 and has at the time of writing 87 members, spanning what amounts to a majority of the currently professionally active visual arts practitioners in Dalarna. On these web pages there are images from most of the members. There is an image bank containing more than 300 examples of the artists' productions. The aim is to continually renew the image material.
The Board of Konst i Dalarna consists of Sietze Groenewold (chairman), Inger Ståbi (secretary), Frida Lindquist (cashier) - other Board members are Peter Flink, Karin Jaxelius, Maj Ström and Anna-Lisa Lindberg Toftell.
